Three Soldiers Killed on November 16 Posthumously Awarded
Three soldiers who were killed on November 16 due to attacks by Azerbaijani military units on Armenian positions along the eastern border of Armenia, as well as during combat operations in Syunik, have been posthumously awarded.
According to the decrees published on the official page of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Junior Sergeant Gurgen Ashoti Sargsyan, commander of a squad within the Armenian Ministry of Defense, was posthumously awarded the Medal of Valor for bravery and selfless dedication while defending the borders of the Homeland.
Similarly, Junior Sergeant Meruzhan Arturi Harutyunyan, also a squad commander in the same military unit, was awarded the Medal of Valor for exhibiting courage and devotion while protecting the borders.
Additionally, Senior Lieutenant Taron Jivani Sahakyan, a military psychologist in the Armenian Ministry of Defense, was posthumously awarded the Medal for Combat Service for his bravery and unwavering commitment in defense of the Homeland.
