Deployment of a 'Customs Post' near Jaketeni Will Affect 6 Villages: Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan
The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan stated on his Facebook page: "On the road from the city of Kapan to the village of Jaketeni, an Azerbaijani 'customs post' is being established, which is directly linked to the gross and massive violations of the most vital rights of the inhabitants of Jaketeni, Srashten, Shikahogh, Nerkin Hand, Tsav, and Shishkert villages. This means 6 villages.
There are absolutely no guarantees for the protection of those rights, ranging from threats to the right to life to freedom of movement. Even now, people's rights are either violated or under threat. These actions by Azerbaijan are completely illegal and lack any justification. This is substantiated by the special reports of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, and we will continue to present facts."
