New Appointment in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Pashinyan Signs Decision
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed a new Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
"Guided by part 1 of Article 9 of the RA Law on Public Service, Paruyr Hovhannisyan has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs," the decision states.
It is noteworthy that Hovhannisyan was the Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe from 2016 until taking on this new role. Additionally, he has served as the Third and Second Secretary of Armenia's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Deputy Head of the Armenia Mission to the European Union, and an advisor to the Minister of Economy of Armenia on EU matters, among other positions.
