Football Club's Chief Accountant Hits Yerevan Municipality Employee: He Dies
A criminal case has been initiated under the 2nd part of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. According to Shamshyan.com, the case was initiated on the fact of a pedestrian accident that occurred on October 21 in Yerevan.
During the preparation of materials, it was revealed that the Suzuki was driven by 33-year-old Anna G., a resident of Yerevan, who hit 47-year-old Arthur M., a resident of Kotayk Province. After the collision, she crashed into a GAZ vehicle parked on the side of the road for the repair of road inspection manholes, and then into a Toyota belonging to 44-year-old Samvel H. from Gegharkunik Province, which was parked in a permissible section of the road. As she continued on, she collided with a Nissan parked in a permissible section of the road, owned by 28-year-old Armen S., a local entrepreneur, before crashing into a tree and ending up in the middle of the road.
According to sources, the criminal case will be transferred to the Road Traffic Crimes Division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia in Yerevan. Reports indicate that driver Anna G. works as the chief accountant for one of the well-known football clubs in Armenia, while the deceased worked for the Yerevan municipality.
As previously reported by a photojournalist from the scene, the pedestrian accident occurred on October 21 around 6:00 PM. Anna Gevorgyan, driving her Suzuki, hit a Yerevan municipality employee changing inspection manholes near the Komitas Pantheon on Arshakunyats Avenue. After leaving the traffic lane, she struck parked Toyota Camry and Nissan vehicles in the permissible area. The driver did not flee the scene and provided assistance to the injured person, who had been quickly attended to by emergency medical personnel arriving at the scene.
