Turkey Consults with Azerbaijan on Normalizing Relations with Armenia
Turkey is consulting with Azerbaijan regarding the normalization of relations with Armenia, announced Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
"We discussed this issue with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's recent visit to Fuzuli. We are consulting with Azerbaijan on these matters. At the same time, we have received positive signals from Armenia. We have stated that we will take reciprocal actions in response to Armenia's positive steps, but we are also discussing what actions we can take together with Azerbaijan," Çavuşoğlu said in an interview with CNN Turk.
It is worth noting that today, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced that the issue of normalizing relations with Turkey is also being discussed with Russian partners.
