A Microscope Image of the Delta Variant of Coronavirus Published

Specialists from the Russian "Vector" research center have published an exclusive image for the first time, depicting the "Delta" variant of the coronavirus. This was reported by "RIA Novosti".

"The virus was artificially cultivated on epithelial cells of African green monkey kidneys. The image of the Delta coronavirus is from the collection of the VB Vector state research center and was captured with an electron microscope camera," the center's statement reads.
