Russian Health Ministry Allows COVID-19 Vaccination of Nursing Mothers with Sputnik V
The Russian Health Ministry has officially allowed the vaccination of nursing mothers against COVID-19 with the Sputnik V vaccine. The necessary modifications have already been made in the accompanying documents by the vaccine developer.
This was announced by Sergey Tokarev, a children's doctor and specialist from the Russian Ministry of Health. He stated, “First, nursing mothers need to be vaccinated, and it is encouraging that the restrictions on vaccinations for them have now been lifted. We can now effectively protect another important contingent from the severe course of the coronavirus infection,” said Sergey Tokarev.
