New Feature on YouTube: Direct Purchases from Videos
YouTube is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to make direct purchases from videos. This was reported by Kommersant.ru.
According to Google’s blog, the YouTube Holiday Stream and Shop shopping event will kick off on November 15, during which the new functionality will be operational. The event will last for one week and will showcase products from Verizon, Samsung, and Walmart.
The new feature will enable users to view a catalog of products and purchase their favorite items during live streams. Previously, the video hosting platform tested this new capability with popular bloggers and brands, and now aims to expand its reach to a wider audience.
