Azerbaijani Armed Forces Attack Wounds 6 Service Members in Artsakh, Two in Serious Condition: Armenia's Human Rights Defender
Six service members have been wounded in Artsakh due to an attack by the Azerbaijani armed forces, with two of them in serious condition. This incident pertains to the community of Nor Shen in Artsakh, which is situated near positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces.
Shots have also been fired towards the southern region of Artsakh and several other civilian settlements.
I just spoke with Gegham Stepanyan, the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, who is currently visiting a military hospital to discuss the details of the situation.
This is a direct result of the genocidal and fascist policies of the Azerbaijani authorities. The presence of the Azerbaijani armed forces in close proximity to Armenian civilian settlements poses a serious threat to people's safety and peace, violating their right to life.
Considering that the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army directly protect the lives and safety of civilians in Nor Shen and other communities, it is clear that the Azerbaijani armed forces bear direct responsibility for harming the health of all wounded soldiers as a result of their criminal actions.
