Vahan Kerobyan Shares Good News
The Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, announced on his Facebook page that the Armenian government has been listed by Standard & Poor's for the first time. The post reads as follows:
“Good news from the financial market, Standard & Poor's has rated the Armenian government for the first time on October 12, 2021, and assigned a 'B+' sovereign rating for the issuance of long-term obligations in foreign and national currency, with a 'positive' outlook. Standard & Poor's expects that the implementation of the Government's 5-year program will lead to faster economic growth and a reduction in external debt.”
