Terrorists Observed Near Iran and Armenia Borders Are Absolutely Unacceptable: Iran's Chief Prosecutor
In a conversation with journalists in Armenia, Iran's Chief Prosecutor assured that the diplomatic and political ties between Iran and Armenia have always been very good. He stated, “Recent events in the region, however, compel us to further develop these communications. The cooperation between Iran and Armenia should be at the highest level, and there are prerequisites for that.”
The prosecutor noted that, as Iranian officials have stated, serious steps are necessary for the development of relations between the two countries. “Armenia and Iran have confirmed that terrorists observed near our borders are absolutely unacceptable. We maintain friendly relations with neighboring countries and hope that before the situation escalates, they will understand Iran's position on this matter. Terrorists must disappear promptly. We can take decisive steps, but I hope that, before that, neighboring countries will address the issue themselves,” emphasized Iran's Chief Prosecutor.
