A Citizen Climbs a Tree and Threatens to Harm Himself with a Fork, Numerous Rescuers Respond

In Yerevan, an emergency incident occurred today, October 8. Around 07:00, the operational management centers of the RA Police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting that a citizen had climbed a tree near the "Mush" motel on Artsakh Avenue and was threatening to harm himself with a fork.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and rescuers negotiated for an extended period with the man, who is estimated to be around 30-35 years old. Eventually, he descended from the tree and was transported to the Erebuni division of the police.

Police are preparing materials regarding the incident, and the identity of the man is being clarified.
