Soldiers Refusing to Return to Duty After Leave Arrested
Two conscript soldiers from various military units of Armenia, identified as H.O. and V.V., have declared after their recent leave that they do not wish to return to their duty stations and have refused to perform certain military obligations, which has led to their non-compliance with these duties. This information was announced by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Following the initiation of a criminal case regarding this incident, on October 1, 2021, H.O. and V.V. were arrested on suspicion of committing a criminal act as outlined in Part 1 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
