Video: Manvel Grigoryan's Case Has Taken a Wrong Turn - Djhangiryan

During a session of the National Assembly, Agnesa Hamoyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, directed a question to the acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Gagik Djhangiryan. She noted that he had stated regarding General Manvel Grigoryan's case that "from the very beginning the balloon was overly inflated, and he had no connection with condensed milk and canned goods."

"It is known that the judge who kept Manvel Grigoryan in custody was the well-known Matsu, also known as Mnatsakan Martirosyan. As the acting president of the Supreme Judicial Council, are you concerned about the behavior of judges like him? Do you still hold the same opinion regarding Manvel Grigoryan?" Hamoyan asked.

In response to the MP's question, Djhangiryan affirmed that he continues to believe that Manvel Grigoryan made undeniable contributions to the liberation of Artsakh: "I think the process regarding him has taken a wrong turn at that time," he stated.

When asked by Hamoyan who ultimately brought about the death of Manvel Grigoryan, Djhangiryan could not provide much information.
