Details Revealed About the Death of Russia's Emergency Situations Minister: Margarita Simonyan Shares the Story
The head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Yevgeny Zinichev, passed away during training exercises in Norilsk. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan shared details of the minister's tragic death: "He and an operator were standing at the edge of a cliff. The operator slipped and fell into the water. There were enough witnesses; no one even had time to understand what was happening when Zinichev jumped into the water after the operator and struck a protruding rock. He died as a rescuer," she noted.
