Lavrov on the Main Pillars of Russia's Foreign Policy
Russia's foreign policy has always been based on dignity, truth, and justice. This opinion was expressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a conversation with journalists, according to RIA Novosti.
"What the region does, the governor's efforts to maintain and strengthen this memory, I believe is of great importance for the future of our country, including the future of our foreign policy, as it has always been based on dignity, truth, and justice," he said.
On August 30, Sergey Lavrov participated in the solemn handing over of 11 flags of military units and subdivisions that took part in the Battle of Stalingrad to the "Battle of Stalingrad" museum in Mamaev Kurgan. Together with Volgograd Governor Andrey Bocharov, the Russian Foreign Minister laid flowers at the 'Pantheon of Glory' memorial complex, after which they visited the grave of Marshal Vasily Chuikov and laid flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
