The Current Situation is Distressing: Lavrov on Russia-EU Relations
The state of relations between Russia and the European Union is currently distressing, and communications have been reduced to a minimum. According to TASS, this statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference following talks with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg.
“We have paid special attention to the deplorable state of relations between Russia and the European Union, particularly on the European continent. Communications with Brussels have been minimized due to the EU's political agenda aimed at restraining Russia,” Lavrov stated.
