8-Month-Old Girl Dies at Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center

An 8-month-old girl died yesterday, August 18, at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center. In a conversation with NEWS.am, representatives of the medical center disclosed that the infant had been hospitalized 15 days prior with a diagnosis of "catastrophic trauma, severe brain injury, comatose state."

The Police Public Relations and Information Department indicated in our conversation that a report regarding the child's death was received around 22:50. Currently, materials are being prepared in connection with the incident at the investigation division of the Nor Nork police department. A forensic examination has been ordered.
