Georgia Reports Nearly 2,700 New COVID-19 Cases in One Day
On August 1, Georgia reported 2,654 new cases of COVID-19. This information was provided by the government’s stopcov.ge website.
In the last 24 hours, 1,319 people have recovered from the virus, while 33 patients have died.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, a total of 422,188 COVID-19 infections have been recorded in Georgia, with 384,712 individuals having recovered. The total death toll stands at 5,853.
In the last 24 hours, 31,806 tests were conducted in Georgia. Currently, 49 individuals are in quarantine, while 5,881 patients are under surveillance in hospitals, and 2,038 people are in clinical hotels.
