COVID-19 Cases in Armenia Exceed 200

As of August 1, Armenia has confirmed 229 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 230,339.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia, within a single day, there have been 5 deaths attributed to the virus, raising the total death toll to 4,619.

Additionally, there has been one reported case of a patient infected with COVID-19 who died from another illness within the same day. As of August 1, the total number of deaths in such cases has reached 1,122.

Overall, 6 people have died in one day, with the total death count now at 5,741.

In terms of recoveries, 122 individuals have recovered within one day, with the total recoveries reaching 219,986. The number of actively treated patients stands at 4,612, which is an increase of 101 from the previous day.

In the past day, 6,077 tests have been conducted, which brings the total tests conducted to date to 1,346,335.
