Argishti Kyaramyan Accepts Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin
Today, on July 28, the President of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin. During the meeting, issues related to the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries were discussed.
Kyaramyan expressed hope that the established cooperation would gain more momentum in the future and expand. During their long-term collaboration, joint events have been held that contributed to increasing the efficiency of mutual international legal assistance in criminal cases.
Kyaramyan also emphasized the importance of continuing effective cooperation in combating crime. Ambassador Kopirkin, expressing gratitude for the warm reception, congratulated Kyaramyan on his appointment.
For his part, the ambassador highly appreciated the interactions between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries and highlighted the readiness of the Russian Embassy in Armenia to support the development of cooperation between the investigative bodies.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue and expand the periodic discussions on agenda issues.
