Oh My God... It Exceeded My Expectations: Bezos Releases Video from Spacecraft

"How was it? Oh my God... It exceeded my expectations, and I had high hopes," exclaimed Jeff Bezos, considered the world's richest man, during a press conference after the first crewed flight to space.

On July 20, Bezos completed the world’s first flight aboard the New Shepard spacecraft. During the space journey, he was accompanied by his brother Mark, 82-year-old pilot Wally Funk, and 18-year-old Dutchman Oliver Daemen. The latter two became the oldest and the youngest individuals to have been in space. The spacecraft reached an altitude of 107 km, and the flight lasted 10 minutes and 28 seconds.

In addition to humans, several historic items related to aviation history were aboard the spacecraft, including the flight goggles of Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic, and a wing section of the Wright brothers' first airplane.

Bezos has expressed a desire to repeat the flight.
