VIDEO: China Creates Fastest Train in the World

In the city of Qingdao, Shandong province, China has developed a maglev train that reaches speeds of up to 600 km/h, reports TASS.

The prototype of this train was assembled in May 2019. Based on existing resources, testing of the entire system began in January 2021, allowing for the movement of the maglev train at speeds of up to 600 km/h.

In addition to speed, the train features another advantage: the magnetic levitation reduces noise and allows the train to glide without touching the railway surface.

Currently, about 10 countries are developing similar trains.
