Two Armenian Soldiers Missing Near Black Lake: Details
According to ArmDaily.am, two Armenian soldiers have gone missing in the vicinity of Black Lake in the Syunik region last night.
Reports indicate that Armenian soldiers, who were on combat duty, lost their way while trying to deliver food to fellow soldiers due to fog, and may have ended up near Azerbaijani forces.
Our sources indicate that about an hour ago, Armenian soldiers have gone into negotiations with Russian border guards and Azerbaijani forces to clarify the status of the missing soldiers. Meanwhile, search operations are ongoing.
No updates have been received from the negotiations, as there is no mobile service in the area.
We reached out to the press office of the Armenian General Staff, but were unable to establish contact. We also tried to reach the Ministry of Defense, which promised to provide comments later.
