Shoigu Sends Be-200 to Turkey to Aid in Fire Suppression
The Russian Defense Minister, Army General Sergey Shoigu, has dispatched a Be-200 aircraft from the Russian Navy’s maritime aviation to Turkey to assist in firefighting efforts, following an order from President Vladimir Putin. The aircraft is already en route to Adana.
According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, "By order of the President of the Russian Federation, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergey Shoigu, has sent a Be-200 aircraft from the Russian Navy’s maritime aviation to assist the Republic of Turkey."
