“There is no fight there; you are not fighting, why should we intervene and fight?” – Tigran Abrahamyan on CSTO Secretary's Statement
If we "translate" the CSTO Secretary's statement from diplomatic language, it results in the following: there is no fight there, you are not fighting, why should we intervene and fight on your behalf? This is what Tigran Abrahamyan, head of the "Henarq" analytical center and former advisor to the President of Artsakh on security issues, wrote on his Facebook page.
The CSTO Secretary, referring to the intrusion of Azerbaijani troops into Armenian territory on May 12, stated that "we must understand that CSTO's capabilities are used only in the case of aggression or attack directed at one of the member countries. Here we are dealing, in essence, with a border incident. Thank God, there are no casualties, there are no shots fired. This is a border incident that needs to be resolved, and we are in favor of resolving it peacefully."

I recalled that after the intrusion on May 12, the authorities boasted that there had been no shots fired, no incidents, no clashes, as if it was a matter of pride that they had surrendered our territories without resistance. We got that result," Tigran Abrahamyan wrote.
