Turkey has Serious Ambitions, Says David Babayan
"Turkey has already announced its intentions to remain in this region, and it is unlikely to voluntarily withdraw from it," said David Babayan, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, during his appearance on Factor. He emphasized that while this poses a significant challenge to our security, it also presents a substantial opportunity to enhance our geopolitical weight through the right policy choices and efforts to ensure a normal, predictable future amidst this complex geopolitical situation.
"The so-called Shushi Declaration is evidence that Turkey does not intend to leave the region. This is a challenge for us and for other countries as well. Turkey has serious ambitions and will do everything necessary to realize them. We too must take our steps, having knowledge and patriotism, so that we can emerge from this difficult situation. If we do not, the consequences will be dire," he stated.
