Residents of Aknalich Community Block Road in Armavir Province
Today, residents of the Aknalich community have blocked a road in the Armavir province. According to participants in the protest, the issue at hand is the lack of irrigation water. Due to severe drought, fields and gardens have dried up.
During a recent meeting with residents of the province, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan promised to address the issue, but no progress has been made. Today, as a sign of protest, people have blocked the road, stating that they will not reopen it until the governor arrives.
