The conscript soldier missing for over a month has yet to be found

For more than a month, conscript soldier Norik Mkrtchyan has been considered missing. "The relevant authorities continue to search. They assure that there is a 90% chance he has not been captured and is within the territory of Armenia, but we do not know where he is. A criminal case has been initiated, and a search has been announced, but the fact remains that the child is not here," said Arsen Aghababyan, the head of the Koghb community, in an interview with NEWS.am.

It should be noted that Norik Mkrtchyan is from the Koghb community in the Tavush Province. He had served for only 3 months. Arsen Aghababyan stated that Norik did not return home after leaving his military unit, and indeed, he has not gone home at all since being drafted.

Recall that on May 22, the Ministry of Defense announced that on May 18, at 22:10, the Vardenis division of the Ministry of Defense received a notification that on the same day, around 17:00, conscript soldier N. Mkrtchyan voluntarily left the protected area of his unit and is included in the list of soldiers who have left the military unit voluntarily.
