Biden Does Not Rule Out Deterioration of US-Russia Relations if Navalny Dies
US President Joe Biden has stated that if imprisoned Alexei Navalny were to die, relations between the United States and Russia would worsen. He made these remarks during a press conference in Brussels following the NATO summit, according to Kp.ru.
The president did not rule out that such a situation could negatively impact relations with other countries as well. “Navalny's death would be another indication that there is very little or even a complete absence of respect for fundamental human rights in Russia. <...> It would bring nothing but deterioration in relations with the world and with me,” Biden said.
