Special exercises will be held in Armenia this year, says CSTO spokesperson
The spokesperson for the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Vladimir Zainetdinov, announced to reporters today that the "Amphibian-2021" special exercises will take place in Armenia this year.
"During the drills, practical actions will be developed in two phases using armored vehicles, special machinery, aviation, drones, and search dogs," he stated.
Zainetdinov informed that from June 1-3, headquarters negotiations were held in Armenia to prepare for the exercises, which are designed to shape the special forces of the CSTO rapid response collective forces.
The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
