10 Children Hospitalized on June 8-9 Continue to Receive Treatment; Their Condition is Satisfactory

Currently, ten children diagnosed with "Acute Gastroenteritis," who were hospitalized on June 8-9, are receiving treatment at the National Center for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Armenia. Doctors assess their condition as satisfactory.

It is noteworthy that the children were admitted to the medical center displaying symptoms of vomiting, nausea, and fever.

As of June 9, in Vayk Medical Center, 11 students from one of the local kindergartens are receiving inpatient treatment for symptoms typical of intestinal infections with a mild course, while 5 children are receiving treatment on an outpatient basis.

Epidemiological investigations are being conducted in the kindergartens, and sampling has been carried out for laboratory testing. These efforts are being carried out in cooperation with the Food Safety Inspection Body.
