Armenian Units Did Not Shell Combat Positions in Azerbaijani Territory: Ministry of Defense
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has issued a statement alleging that Armenian units have shelled Azerbaijani positions, which they claim is yet another piece of misinformation.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Armenian units did not shell Azerbaijani combat positions located on their territory. Instead, they took measures to stop the engineering work being conducted by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces along the border with Armenia.
Specifically, on June 11, Azerbaijani armed forces attempted once again to carry out engineering work in the border area of Kutch village in Gegharkunik Province. Armenian units responded with counteraction, after which the engineering works were halted.
