Tigran Avinyan Received 12 Million Dram Bonus in 2020, Wife Acquired 18 Million Dram Worth Range Rover
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, received a bonus of 12 million dram in 2020. This information was disclosed by Tert.am, based on the declaration submitted by Avinyan to the Commission for Prevention of Corruption.
According to the Armenian law on "Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions," the calculation coefficient for deputy prime ministers' salaries is set at 15.50, which results in a monthly salary of 1 million 25 thousand 170 dram. Consequently, Avinyan's annual salary amounts to 12 million 302 thousand dram.
In his declaration, Avinyan reported his employment remuneration as 24 million 611 thousand dram, indicating an annual bonus of 12 million 308 thousand dram.
Avinyan also declared an underground parking space he purchased in 2014, mentioning that he has 7 million 179 thousand dram in bank accounts, holds 2 bitcoins (cryptocurrency), and at the beginning of the year had 0.01, which by the end of the year amounted to 5.00 ethereum (cryptocurrency). Additionally, as other income, he reported earning 1 million dram from Boris Tamoyan.
Tigran Avinyan's wife, Mariam Pahlavuni, acquired a Range Rover vehicle in 2020, valued at 18 million dram. She also declared a Mitsubishi car from 2011, purchased in 2018, which she sold in 2020. In her bank accounts, Mariam Pahlavuni declared 1 million 99 thousand dram. She is currently unemployed, and no workplace is mentioned in her declaration.
