MoD Clarifies Reports of Gunfire in Tavush
As previously mentioned, reports have been circulating on social media and in the press claiming that in the Tavush region, particularly from the direction of Ijevan, the enemy has provoked gunfire, and there are injuries on the Armenian side. Auroranews contacted the Ministry of Defense, where we were informed that the situation at the border from the Tavush side is calm, and the gunfire was heard because one of our Armed Forces units was conducting training exercises.
It should be noted that, as previously stated, the village mayor of Karmiraghbyur has denied the reports of gunfire, indicating that there is no exchange of fire between Azerbaijanis and Armenians. Meanwhile, the information regarding injuries is still under verification.
