Major Car Accident in Kotayk Province: BMW Overturned in a Ravine
Today, on May 26, a major car accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 08:55, 25-year-old Aram Petrosyan, a resident of Charentsavan, lost control of his BMW vehicle on the 24 km mark of the Yerevan-Sevan highway under unknown circumstances. The car crossed the roadway, collided with iron guardrails, and overturned into a ravine.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of the accident. The emergency situation ministry's rescue service, specifically the No. 45 fire-rescue unit, promptly arrived at the scene with one combat crew. The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply and, with the help of citizens, righted it.
