Video: Pashinyan has appealed to Putin regarding military assistance, says Alen Simonyan
Alen Simonyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, announced today during a briefing with journalists that the Prosperous Armenia Party has submitted a request to convene an extraordinary session of the National Assembly. He added that the council meeting will discuss the current situation shortly.
In response to a journalist's question about whether the current situation could lead to the cancellation of elections, Simonyan noted that this matter has not been discussed at the moment, as there are more pressing issues that require a swift response.
“Armenia has officially appealed to the CSTO, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has also reached out to the President of Russia regarding military assistance within the framework of the cooperation agreement,” Simonyan stated.
