Shushi's Cathedral to Be Converted into a Mosque and Center for Grey Wolves: Nairi Hokhikaian

Journalist Nairi Hokhikaian made a post on his Facebook page stating: “The Armenian Christian Cathedral of the Holy Savior Ghazanchetsots in Shushi will be converted into a mosque. This is the Turkish and Azerbaijani attitude towards Christian values. They are currently removing the dome under the pretext of renovation, but I assure you, it will not be renovated as a Christian cathedral; rather, it will become a mosque modeled after the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul.

In exchange for opening Turkey's borders, they primarily needed Shushi and Karvachar. Our fortress city will become a center of Turkish nationalism and Pan-Turkism, where the Ghazanchetsots Cathedral will turn into a spiritual center for the Grey Wolves. Will we tolerate this? One cannot rely on the duplicitous international community, which considers human destinies and values to be relative. The cathedral in Shushi will again become a magnificent church with its dome only when the Armenian soldier stands again in the fortress city.”
