Tribute Paid in Moscow to Victims of the Armenian Genocide
A tribute has been paid in Moscow to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The information was provided by the Embassy of Armenia in Russia.
"On April 24, Armenia's Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toghanian and the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, laid wreaths and flowers at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide located in the grounds of the Moscow ecclesiastical complex," the statement said.
A Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of the Holy Transfiguration in Moscow, and at the end, a prayer service was conducted for the intercession of the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. The ceremony was attended by representatives from various Russian government agencies, the embassy staff, and members of the Armenian community.
