Mesrop Arakelyan Announces Resignation as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs
Mesrop Arakelyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, has announced his resignation from the position. Below is his statement:
“Dear compatriots,
As of today, I am ceasing my service as the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs. I accepted this responsibility in the post-war situation exclusively with one goal in mind: to alleviate the social calamity our people faced as a result of the war unleashed by the enemy against Artsakh.
Today, we can affirm that Artsakh has overcome the social crisis and entered a phase of development programs and housing construction, for which I express my satisfaction and consider the primary social challenges adequately addressed. At the same time, the resolution of the primary social issues for our brothers who were wounded during the war and the process of prosthesis have been laid on solid foundations to achieve final results.
I thank my colleagues in Armenia and Artsakh for their cooperation. Peace to our united homeland.”
It should be noted that Mesrop Arakelyan was appointed as minister in November 2020.
