VIDEO: Citizen Climbs on Pashinyan's Security Vehicle in Syunik

A citizen climbed onto Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's security vehicle in the town of Meghri, Syunik Province. Citizens continue to demand that Pashinyan leave their town. As he attempts to continue his journey in Meghri, he is met with chants of insults and obscenities directed at him.

They have been shouting phrases such as 'Nikol the traitor' and 'Nikol the Turk.' We previously reported that Pashinyan traveled to Syunik Province under strict secrecy. Information about his visit was kept highly confidential, and security forces were only informed last minute; even the traffic police were notified just half an hour before they were required to escort the prime minister.

Yesterday evening, it became known that Pashinyan had made a nighttime visit to the Shurnukh community. Reports in the media suggest that he was received with resentment and coldness by the residents.

It is worth reminding that the day before, there were unexpected changes in the Syunik police chief, his deputy, and the police chiefs of Goris and Kapan. With one exception, leaders from all the communities in Syunik have publicly demanded Pashinyan's resignation.
