Ukraine Starts Exercises in the Black Sea Without Warning
Ukraine's naval forces have commenced exercises in the Black Sea without prior warning. This information was reported by 'RIA Novosti,' citing Ukrainian sources.
“In the ports of Kherson, Olvia, Chernomorsk, Odesa, and Mykolaiv, navigation (pilotage) has been restricted due to military training,” the statement from the administration concerning Marine Ports indicates.
The exercises are taking place against the backdrop of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent statements about joining NATO. According to Zelensky, NATO membership is the only way to resolve the conflict in Donbas.
