Employers Hiring Disabled Soldiers After May 1 Will Receive Support: Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs
Employers who hire soldiers disabled as a result of military operations will receive support after May 1. This was announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.
“The program applies not only to individuals disabled due to the 2020 war but also to former servicemen with disabilities. According to the project, for each individual placed in a job, the employer will be provided with:
- Support of up to 100,000 drams for income tax calculated and paid on the salary, on a quarterly basis, for a maximum period of one year,
- A one-time compensation of no more than 500,000 drams in case of the need for workplace adaptation.
Additional information about the application procedure will be provided,” the announcement stated.
