We Consider it Betrayal Towards 17 Forces: "Hraparak"
The president of the "Freedom" party and former Prime Minister of Armenia, Hrant Bagratyan, was asked whether he plans to participate in the elections scheduled for June 20, amid rumors of discussions with various forces.
"At this moment, we are fighting to remove Nikol Pashinyan without elections; we are not talking about elections right now," he said.
When asked what would happen if it is not possible to remove him without elections, Bagratyan recalled a well-known saying in response to hypothetical questions: "If my aunt had given birth to a boy, he would be my uncle." However, he noted that there are people and forces that are both fighting for Pashinyan's removal and simultaneously discussing the possibility of participating in the upcoming elections.
"We are not that type; we consider this to be wrong, we consider it a betrayal towards the 17 forces," said Bagratyan.
This was reported by the "Hraparak" newspaper.
