Suspect Identified for Defacing the Armenia-Israel Friendship Monument

On February 19, based on information received by the Kanaker-Zeitun police department, it was determined that on February 12, an unknown individual had defaced the monument located in the Armenia-Israel Friendship Alley in Victory Park by splattering it with red paint.

Thanks to joint efforts by the criminal investigators of the Kanaker-Zeitun police and agents of the National Security Service, it was revealed on February 24 that the act was committed by a 36-year-old man who presented himself to the Kanaker-Zeitun police department on the same day. Preparations are underway for legal proceedings.
