Unknown Individual Steals 50 Million Drams in Yerevan, Throws Grenade at Currency Exchange Point
On February 19, at 14:21, a report was received at the Central Police Station about a robbery on Kajaznuni Street in Yerevan. Operational investigative teams arriving at the scene determined that an unknown individual threatened an employee at the currency exchange point with an object resembling a pistol and a grenade, stealing approximately 50 million drams according to preliminary data. As the robber was leaving, he threw the grenade into the area of the currency exchange point. It did not detonate.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Comprehensive operational and investigative measures are being taken to unveil the crime. An initial investigation is underway.
