Catholicos Not Involved in Accident and Not Hospitalized: Mother See

The information system of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has reported that the news about Catholicos Karekin II being involved in an accident is misinformation.

"The news circulated by certain media outlets late yesterday evening that the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos was involved in a car accident on the Yerevan-Etchmiadzin highway along with two senior clergymen and was taken to St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center is false and does not correspond to reality," the statement from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reads.
