Russian-Turkish Joint Center Personnel Monitor Situation in Karabakh: Russian Ministry of Defense

The personnel of the Russian-Turkish joint center continue to carry out monitoring tasks for the ceasefire and the cessation of military operations in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"We are located in the Russian-Turkish joint monitoring center, where Russian and Turkish servicemen are addressing the common task of maintaining the ceasefire and the cessation of military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. Monitoring of the situation is being conducted around the clock using unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically with the 'Forpost' and 'Orlan-10' UAV complexes. No violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded," stated Colonel Mikhail Zavalkin, a Russian representative of the Joint Center.

He added, "The rotation of the Russian unit in the center consists of officers from the operational department, communication officers, interpreters, and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles." The servicemen of the joint center continuously receive images from the UAV command posts, where all movements of military equipment and personnel are analyzed, and all facts of crossing the contact line are recorded.

The joint center's rotation collects, summarizes, and verifies information about any violations of the agreements reached, and discusses any complaints regarding non-compliance with agreements made by the conflicting parties in Nagorno-Karabakh.
