Aliyev Calls on Azerbaijanis to Avoid Visiting Nagorno-Karabakh for Now
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has appealed to the citizens of the country, urging them to refrain from visiting Nagorno-Karabakh for the time being, until the mine clearance process in the region is completed. This was reported by the news site minval.az.
“Unfortunately, there have been unfortunate incidents occurring there after the war and in recent days. I want to address the citizens of Azerbaijan, I ask them not to visit there without permission, as it is dangerous,” said Aliyev during a meeting with Vugar Suleymanov, the head of the Azerbaijani Mine Clearance Agency.
Aliyev also called on the staff at the checkpoints to strengthen their control at observation posts.
