Video: The Principal of Shatvan School Embezzled Salaries of Security Guard, Cleaner, and Stove Operator

In the Shatvan village school of Gegharkunik Province, it has been revealed that over 3 million 130 thousand drams have been embezzled due to various illegal activities. This information was provided by the press service of the Armenian Police.

Specifically, the principal of the Shatvan village school allegedly abused his official position by officially registering individuals who did not actually work at various times, resulting in their salaries being fraudulently withdrawn in their names. 'Evidence has been obtained that the principal registered three women as a librarian, guard, and cleaner, and two men as stove operators in classrooms, who did not show up for work at different times between 2004 and 2020,' the report states.

It is noted that false information was included in the employment records, and salary amounts were withdrawn in their names. A criminal case has been initiated by the Vardenis division of the police regarding this matter, and it has been forwarded to the territorial investigative body.
